Pirjo Jussila L'Esperance

Pirjo is a Berks County, Pa. designer and ceramic artist. She specializes in one of a kind functional & decorative ceramics that are always inspired by nature and animals.

 

Her professional expertise is in Landscape Architecture & design, however pursuits in ceramics and other visual arts is a natural extension of her passion for the outdoors. Hand-building and sculpture are Pirjo's specialization.  Her clay creations all have a unique individuality, with her subjects usually of the 4 legged persuasion, & reflecting whimsical undertones.

 

Pirjo's artwork can be seen at various art studios & galleries including the Hamburg art gallery in Hamburg, Pa. Dancing tree, Studio 'B' in Boyertown & Clay on Main in Oley, Pa. 

 

Pirjo is also an ceramics instructor at Clay on Main, teaching adults & children the basics of hand building & throwing.
